Litigation
I started my legal career as a litigator and maintain this part of my practice to this day. I pride myself on not only managing the litigation but drafting complex statements of case that are usually settled by counsel.
My experience includes:
Trust and fiduciary duty litigation, through to trial and appeal to the Court of Appeal (England & Wales). For example Sinclair Investments (UK) Ltd v Versailles Trade Finance Ltd [2011] EWCA Civ 347.
Commercial fraud litigation and asset recovery.
Intellectual Property litigation.
Banking litigation.
Professional negligence claims.
Cross-border litigation in the BVI, Cyprus, Monaco and Greece.
Managing international divorce litigation.
Obtaining urgent interim injunctions and Norwich Pharmacal orders.
Management of cross-border, criminal cases including defending foreign letters of request.
Privacy, data protection and unlawful surveillance litigation.
Negotiating and drafting settlements of cases with claims in excess of $100 million.
Conducting mediations.
Management of disclosure exercises, including what was at the time the largest disclosure exercise in English legal history, with 11 million documents.
